AfroKombb

Terms of use

Last updated: 18 October 2026

1. What AfroKombb is

AfroKombb is an online booking service run by Bossware IT (bosswareit.com) in Ghana. It connects clients with independent barbers. Barbers are not AfroKombb employees; each barber is responsible for their own work.

2. Your account

You log in with a one-time code sent to your email or phone. Keep access to them safe. You must give your real name and a phone number that works. You must be 18 or older to book or to offer services. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk.

3. Bookings

A booking is a request until the barber accepts it. The barber has 75 minutes to accept; otherwise the request closes. For home visits, the client must give a correct address and be there at the booked time. For shop visits, the barber waits up to 20 minutes for a late client.

4. Prices and payment

Barbers set their own prices and travel fees. Online payments are handled by Paystack; a booking fee of 1.95% is added and shown before you pay. AfroKombb holds online payments until the job is done and confirmed, then pays the barber minus the platform commission. Cash is paid directly to the barber after the service.

5. Cancellations and refunds

  • Client cancels more than 2 hours before: full refund of the price and travel fee (the booking fee is not returned).
  • Client cancels later, or is not there: GH₵ 10 goes to the barber; the rest is refunded.
  • Barber declines, cancels, does not answer or does not come: everything is refunded, including the booking fee.

Refunds go back the way you paid and can take a few days to arrive.

6. Reviews

Only a client with a finished booking can review it, once. Reviews must be honest and polite. We may hide reviews that are abusive, false or off-topic.

7. Safety and conduct

Treat each other with respect. Harassment, violence, discrimination or theft lead to immediate suspension and may be reported to the police. Report any problem through "Report a problem" on the booking.

8. Our responsibility

We work hard to check barbers and keep the service running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. As far as the law allows, AfroKombb is not responsible for the quality of a service or for losses between a client and a barber, beyond refunding money paid through AfroKombb under these terms.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using AfroKombb after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana.
